Westlock Parent Link Centre
Serves all parents, caregivers, and their families, especially those with young children in Westlock and surrounding area.
Home Visitation
Provides long term support, mentorship, and advocacy to pregnant women or first time parents.
Thrive

Helps to address complex problems associated with substance abuse, aiming to enhance parenting skills and maintain stability.
The Vision

HFHF are introducing a new series of brochures called A Guide to Healthy Living. They recognize that information about healthy living can support the mission and dedication to increasing ability and independence in a framework of love and compassion. A GUIDE TO STROKE PREVENTION is the first in a series of pamphlets produced by Holy Family Hospital in cooperation with Holy Family Hospital Foundation to help people in the middle and later years of life maintain their health and independence. Other titles in the series are still under development. They will be published in brochure form and on website. They will be delighted to hear your ideas for other titles that would be helpful. Titles in development include:

Healthy Families Healthy Futures believes that guidelines and standards for workplace conduct are an integral component of sound operational practices, leading to an effective organization. HFHF strives to develop and maintain a pleasant, efficient, and fair work environment that fosters cooperation and understanding. In turn, HFHF expects its employees and volunteers to demonstrate ethical behaviour, cooperation, self-discipline, efficiency, and productivity.
Definition
Workplace shall include the places that HFHF employees and volunteers conduct their business including the offices and places that HFHF rents or leases and the community venues and private homes and vehicles in which HFHF business is conducted.
- Transitions Mentorship Program
- HFHF provide one to one mentorship for youth and young adults who may be prenatally exposed to drugs and/or alcohol, possibly resulting in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
- LOCATIONS: Athabasca and Whitecourt Alberta
- The Transitions Mentor develops a trusting relationship with each participant, and together they
- Develop strategies to build effective social and life skills
- Develop and implement personal goals
- Connect to other community programs and services
- Work with the individual’s circle of influence, including family, caregiver, educators, and service providers
- Support is also available to families and caregivers. An FASD diagnosis is not required to be referred.
- Services are voluntary, free, confidential, and available in your home.
