Our retirement residences – located in Derwent, Two Hills, Myrnam, and Willingdon – are inviting places where each resident’s comfort and safety is assured through 24-hours-a-day staffing, reliable building security, and emergency response systems in every room.
Our common areas are welcoming spaces designed for socializing and relaxation. Here residents can read a book, watch TV, or take part in games ranging from pool to shuffleboard. Hop on our wheelchair accessible van for a day out, or take part in regular exercise classes designed to keep the body limber and the mind sharp.
Seniors Health is contracted by Alberta Health Services to oversee the operation of supportive, independent, and special needs care facilities that put the needs of seniors first. Home care services are provided at our Willingdon and Myrnam facilities while level 3 supportive living at Myrnam Villa provides seniors whose needs increase with an ideal place to transition to. Seniors Health Foundation is a not-for-profit organization proudly providing housing and hospitality services in Two Hills County since 1955. Our organization is municipally and provincially governed through a Board of Directors, who along with staff, are committed to providing high-qualify, affordable housing to seniors and to those challenged with the difficulties of living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Supportive Living

Residents live in self-contained studios and suites and enjoy fresh flavourful meals served in a dining room with extended hours that allow residents to set their own schedule. Exercise programs are offered on site and excursions and special events that promote socialization take place regularly.
Small to medium sized pets are permitted with written approval, adding to the homey feel evident at all our supportive living facilities.

Independent Living
Independent Living Facilities provide active, healthy, self-sufficient seniors with a retirement community where they can live surrounded by peers.
Adults 55 and older live in self-contained suites where they can prepare their own meals or enjoy meals provided by outside agencies like Meals on Wheels. Full access to onsite recreation and amenities including entertainment, onsite events, and excursions is provided along with access to health care information and support provided 24-hours-a-day.
Special needs care
Our Special Needs Care facilities are designed for people challenged with the difficulties of living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Our program is based on the social model of care and builds on each resident’s strengths and capabilities in a safe, flexible home-like environment where the daily routine is determined by each resident’s needs and desires.
Special Needs facilities are staffed 24-hours-a-day by resident companions who assist residents with all aspects of living and person care including eating, bathing, and grooming.
